sighhhhh

This is pretty much how we feel right now... We feel like we have been going none stop.
This week we got to dog sit and baby sit all week and on top of that other things. It was lots of fun and truly was not hard one bit but we have still been going none stop so we are a little bit tired. Now we wait for Tuesday were we get to relax and see family up in sandpoint.... but till then we will be stressed cause well we aren't sure how we are getting there. Gas prices, airline prices, car issues and time are all a issue and with about 24 hours to decide we are kinda clueless. What to do what to do ... will someone tell us. Here are a few of the cute pictures of our babysitting my cousins... they really wanted us to take photos of them. We baby sat Tyler Anne Elle, and Emily(shes 15 months). Let me tell you stephen got out of the stinky diaper changes .... next time he will not be so lucky. But they were so fun to play with and were a piece a cake to babysit for. Jack is the dog in the photos.... he is our dream dog.... stephen and him were best friends... he was stephens shadow. (check out the post below this ...stephen finally finished his video he did this allllllll by himself)

its about bloody time

"Someone told me It's all happening at the Zoo"

Here are some fun photos from our fun weekend.

On Friday after the Higginbothams came over and ate dinner then Brian and Jessica went to Emilys play and we got the chance to watch David Joshua and Katie. We went swimming and forgot the camera but we got some good pictures of afterwards eating ice cream and watching Over the hedge.

Saturday Morning we all woke up ate yummy french toast and went to the Zoo. We meet the Marian and David and all their kids, along with Emily and Lily (Dianna graced us with her presents for the last 10 mins). The zoo was hot and tiring but tons for fun, I think I had more fun than the kids. We made it threw most of the zoo even the snake house which was Joshua's favorite who was already very sick but we think he still had fun. He happened to throw up all over Uncle Stephen

Katie... love her smile

this guy was so close to us pacing back in forth loved it

After the zoo I went straight to work and sadly left a little early because I was almost too sick to stand unfortunetly picking up what Joshua had, i was lucky to make it home. But i am all better now and hopefully will be ready for this busy week. We were looking forward to flying up to Sand point next weekend but our miles card just wont let us... so we are trying to figure out what to do.... because driving is not our favorites, hopefully some cheap tickets will pop up this week!

Busy Busy and more Busy

This last week and the weeks to come are busy busy but fun filled. Last week and this week i have been doing midterms and trying to do well on them while trying to have fun in the nice summer sun. Friday i worked all morning on a midterm and took a break by the pool after that i went to work at Bees stadium which was fun but didn't get home till late. So i missed out on seeing Stephen all day. Saturday we went to seven peaks with Helen and Bonnie. Helen surprised us with a visit from New York City and we were all excited to see her. After the long hot fun day at Seven peaks we went straight to a BBQ with some old friends. We ate lots of food (stephen had 2 hamburgers and 2 hotdogs... and later regretted it) and then played volleyball, water balloon volleyball and some rock band(let me tell you, if you have a playstation or xbox already you should get this game... its amazingggg). Today fathers day we woke up at the crack of dawn and went to a Baptist church for one of my classes it was tons of fun but really early in the morning. Then we went straight to stake conference where Russel M Nelson came and we had the great pleasure of hearing him. Now we are having another busy schedule this week and we are pretty much busy till after July 4th weekend! We love staying busy (minus midterms). For right now we are just going to try to relax and not feel our sunburn body and eat some yummy dinner at my parents for fathers day. Happy Fathers Day. WE Love our DADS they are the bestest. (here are some pictures from our fun weekend.

OH THE MANTEL

So the day that we got the condo we knew then that the mantel had to be replaced. Now that snowboarding is over and we are on summer break we went at it. Usually demolition is the easy part; but my tools were at work so I went at it with a large screw driver. It still didn't take very long. After some designing and consulting between Rosie and I we went to work on it. It started way too early one Saturday morning around 4:30 because I couldn't sleep because I couldn't stop thinking about it. If didn't take that long to build about 5 hours. It was great to get it done. The paint prep and painting came along afterwards. It is now done and being greatly enjoyed. We are afraid that I may be related to my father in that I always need a project. The pictures are missing the original mantel which was a gross tile monstrosity. There will be projects in the near future. Rosie is the best for letting me do this kind of stuff.
